Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Disney's first full length feature production, is ranked as the greatest animated film of all time by the American Film Institute.  An instant classic it endures to this day for the young and the young at heart.

Standing out in a movie packed with memorable firsts, is the performance of the Evil Queen, Snow White's wicked stepmother. Voiced by Lucille La Verne and inspired in looks by the Academy Award™ winning actress Gale Sondergaard, the Queen gives a memorable performance as the dangerously jealous antagonist to the heroine Snow White.

Obsessed with her own beauty the vain Queen is driven to plot the death of her ward when Snow White's beauty eclipses her own.  Ordering her huntsman to take Snow White into the woods and kill her, she presents him an ornate box with a heart and dagger clasp and demands that he brings her the dead girl's heart in it when the deed is done.

Handcrafted out of solid rosewood with 24 Karat gold plated details, our Heart Box captures the beauty of the piece, but the Disney folks insisted that we needed to capture its power too.  When the Queen presents the box to the huntsman she clamps the lid tight, piercing the heart with a dagger clasp.  Our replica had to be capable of no less.
