We're introducing an exciting new range of Precision Cast Replicas.  Created using a mixture of materials including, cast resin, die-cast metal, injection molded details and photo etched parts, these subjects will deliver exacting replicas for the discerning collector.

We are not abandoning our studio scale FX Model line up, but there are many special effects miniatures which are simply too large for eFX to affordably replicate.  They include some incredible designs which we feel would make great model replicas.  By adding a line of scaled replicas we are able to deliver more of your favorite science fiction vehicles so you can proudly display them on your desk at home or for your colleagues at work.  First out of the gate to receive the eFX desk top collectible treatment is Han Solo's Millennium Falcon.

We began making this iconic starship by assembling the best information we could get from the Lucasfilm archive.  The archive opened up their extensive photographic database and allowed us to examine, measure, photograph and scan the Millennium Falcon miniature built for and used during the filming of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.  The photographs provide our master pattern makers with up close, precise details, while the scan data gives them accurate geometry to reconstruct the shape of the ship and allows for the correct placement of all of the details and panel lines.
